Best burrata ever! Love this place SO much. The food, the vibe, the wine on tap! Their specials are always delicious and very creative. The staff is always smiling and super friendly.

All around great place. We ate dinner at the bar and despite the crowd we had great service. Unique wine on tap means a wide selection by the glass. Beer lovers have a good selection as well. Pizza is is thin and tasty.

This place is amazing, I couldn’t stop wanting to try different things. Started with the Truffle Buratta, mozzarella pizza, Turkey meatballs, chicken parm panini WOW couldn’t fit much more. So I’ll be back lol thank you Christian for the great service as well.

This is a place you have to try. Change your plans right now if you were going to get pizza somewhere else and give this a shot. The pizza is delicious as well as their homemade mozzarella. They have a Nutella pastry puff for dessert that's worth the trip alone. But this place on your to-do list.

Nice new place in downtown Fairfield. The food is good, as well as the vibe. I really liked the beer selection as well. No reservations though so if you show up at the wrong time you could be waiting a while.

Best gluten free pizza I've had, the gluten free garlic bread is equally amazing. First time I've had pizza that tasted like pizza since I found out I had Celiac.

Brick and Wood does a nice pizza. It's thin, with an airy dough, and usually a slightly burnt crust. Ingredients always taste fresh, and they offer different burratas seasonally. (Tonight they had a persimmon burrata.)Staff is very personable and service is usually fast. Only gave a 4 star rating because the restaurant can get pretty crowded, and tables are close together. If you go during a busy time, be prepared to wait a little bit, and don't expect a quiet, intimate environment.

All around fantastic. Went with the burrata special on a recommendation from John, and loved it. Got the meatballs from the street food list, loved it. Went with the zucchini and pancetta pizza, which was fantastic. Asked John for recommendations for wine, and loved all four. Service was as cordial and attentive as the food was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Best Authentic Neopolitan pizza joint in Connecticut

LOVE THE FOOD. Its definitely the quintessential "hipster" location but the flare and the combinations of aromatics and flavorings bring this place to life.The servers, hostess', and the masterminds in the kitchen are all the best and on top of their game.A bit pricey for the portions, though, which is why i give only 4 out of 5 stars.

Such good food: pizza, appetizers, and dessert. Wine and beer on draft. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Recommended to us by folks we met on the train and so happy we visited.

Brick + Wood is one of the best places you could go!!!! I have been a customer since they first opened and they’ve never failed to impress. Over the years I’ve been amazed at their consistency with quality, specials (Clara made me like food I didn’t know I would like), and service. I keep going back because of their amazing food but also to support their amazing staff!!! They have endured so many difficult times over the years and yet they never missed a beat. So, whether you are craving some fresh made pizza (that 🍕 dough!), hand-pulled fresh mozzarella (😋 sit at the pizza bar if you wanna watch the artist in action), craft cocktails 🍹(never disappoints) , delicious desserts (bread pudding is 💯), or just want to sit in a restaurant that makes you feel like family ... you can’t go wrong with Brick + Wood.

Food is excellent. Staff is amazing and friendly. Atmosphere is noisy but fine. They have outside seating, in warmer weather. A bit pricier then a regular pizza joint but well worth the ample portions. They also have GF Pizza...excellent!

This literally has to be the most underrated pizza spots in CT. Must try if you're in the area! Only thing I would say is, don't expect to feel full off one, personal size but very thin. Service is also great, server had great wit -- felt like he was part our party.

People break free of your chains and gather round to hear the truth, absolutely best pizza in CT period. CT has 8 pizza locations that are in the top 50 in America. It's a shame that this place was not on there. Their burrata is out of this world. And the cranberry mule is delicious as well as the limonijito. Rotating spins on their staple bread pudding. I do not like bread pudding and I enjoyed theirs. Most important the staff were amazing super friendly super helpful there was not one staff member who did not say goodbye or thank you for coming in the gentleman in the front asked how everything was and overall it was a great lunch.

Brick & Wood lived up to my expectations! We had been wanting to check this restaurant out for quite some time now. The staff was attentive and prompt. The pizza was unbelievable as was the variety of burrata they had to offer. Highly recommend!

Very high quality. We have been here a few times and they have yet to disappoint. Pizza, drinks, staff, all excellent. Not your typical pizza joint. Prices are a tad higher than what you’d expect for pizza fair however, the quality you receive offsets the difference in cost.

Pizza was delicious. Atmosphere is nice.. was busy but still able to enjoy ourselves.. pizzas are 12 inch more personal size..a little more $$ for a lunch for two but worth it.Quality of food A+....

Have been here several times but will not return. Just very bifurcated, one menu for wine and a chalkboard for beer - and during Covid I recognize the challenges but the staff was rude, signs were not self explanatory, and the protocol and laws are that restaurant employees need to wear masks but customers do not yet we had to wear to order outside and to use restrooms. Their meatball pizza was crumbles of breadcrumbs and the quality has gone downhill significantly.

A very good place to get fresh wood-fired pizzas! The atmosphere is terrific and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The ingredients on the pizza is tasty and the char is great. They need to get more char on the bottom of the pizza so as not to be so doughy. All in all it is a good place to get good pizza.

The service and food are fantastic. I love that the wines are on tap, so you can have 2 oz servings. You can create your own flight of wine and it comes with a printed sheet, so you can refer to it and remember which ones you’re drinking. The place is great for a family dinner or night out with girlfriends.

This place is the best pizza restaurant in Fairfield. Love it. A bit pricey but so good and always have left overs. Love the burrata bar and the the bread budding is to die for (and I don't usually like bread pudding). Highly recommend. Please keep the sweet potato specialty on the menu as this was the best pizza I've had in a very long time.

We were greeted cordially at the entrance, and shown to a table. We were given wine and drink choices while we perused the menu. When we ordered, everything was done neatly and professionally, and the food presentation was as lovely as the food was tasteful. We shall return over and over, I expect.

Better than Pepe's and modern. Competes with Sally's! Amazing pizza. Will quickly make your top ten list!

The burrata was AMAZING. We sat at the bar and they make the cheese in front of you. It was so so good. We also had the meatball pizza and it was great. Would def come back. So many more yummy options to try.
